  1. I am a marriage family therapist and a large percentage of my practice are teenagers. Due to COVID-19 all sessions are now on video and not face to face. Needless to say, this has challenges as far as making that physical connection which is especially important for teens to feel safe and comfortable. The environment with distractions are also a challenge. I have found that when I was physically in my office with teens they were more open to experiencing a meditation. Online their attention span seems to be compromised especially because they are looking at a screen and usually either sitting in a chair or walking around at times. I would like a suggestion for a short calming/relaxing meditation to start each session with for them to be able to visualize their safe place.
