  1. 2nd day of challenge focusing on 3 deep breaths. I findth this really slowed my mind down. Doing deep breathing first thing in the morning settled my mind and body so I'm not worried if I will get my to do list done. I know I will, just take it one step at a time,s slowly perhaps. Just breathe in and out to gather my focus and slowly my jittery/anxious body.
  2. I started my initial day of my challenge by not giving into impulses to check social media. I went straight to email to find my journey here. All electronics are off, except for my phone. The house is completely quite except for the rain and thunder outside. My dog is curled up at my feet. I close my eyes as I sit in a comfortable upright position. My breathing slowly begins to slow down to a very calming and relaxing pace. My shoulders ease down with each passing breath relieving tension. I feel the rise and fall of my lungs and abdomen. I easily fall into a calming breathing, my body is completely relaxed and with my eyes closed I see beautiful purple color surrounded by white that expands and contracts with each breath I take. I am at peace with myself and ready to start my day.

  4. Hello my name is Lucinda, I have joined this community to learn to achieve tools to help with anxiety, insecurity and gain the inner strength from earlier days in my life. One thing most people don not know about me is, that while joining the US Air Force, I turned 18 years old in basic training.
