  1. Can someone explain to me more of what conditionality means in the Buddhist perspective. I've looked it up, I read about it, but it seems I can't wrap my head around it. This question is in reference to the Three Kinds of Suffering and Conditionality being one of them. I thought it was just that conditions change, but one of the three kinds of suffering is change, so that does not make sense to me. According to my Insight Meditation workbook, it states "Everything in this world comes into being through a combination of conditions. In order to take care of ourselves in this life, we need to make continuous effort to sustain those conditions. Without this application of energy, things fall apart. This is knows as the suffering of conditionality." But what if those conditions aren't good, we would not sustain those conditions. Now you see why I need more explanation...please. Thank you!
  2. I would like to cultivate more compassion for myself and others. As a manager, sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the job and expectations. I often remind myself that we are all built differently and try to remember that when I get caught up in the moment. I am also working to bring more peace into my life by just being grateful for all that I do have.
  3. I love everything Deva Premal does, but really love this. I love doing mantra meditation. Imagine sitting comfortably in the sun, your whole body warm and relaxed, while listening to this music. Divine.
  4. Posted mantra in wrong area, sorry don't know how to delete.

    Been sick

Hi Amanda, Sending you love and light! I just had my gallbladder removed and been trying to remind myself often that my body is a temple and that I love my body. (I need to take better care of my body). I like this reminder because even though I haven't been feeling well, something clicks inside me when I say, "My body is a temple" and I feel the cells in my body feeling loved. I wish you well and pray for your recovery.

    Hello

Hi, My name is Leanne and I have been studying under Sean to be a mindfulness meditation teacher, though I got off track due to a busy work life. Having a busy work life and feeling overloaded has made me realize exactly why meditation is so important. I have been trying to figure out how I really want to apply being a teacher and more and more I am thinking I would really like to bring mindfulness into the workplace. I know when I am being more mindful, I talk to people differently and I hope to help others do the same.
  9. This is one of my favorites, but have not heard this one.
